Keyboard Shortcuts

Most shortcuts can be listed and customized in the Shortcut Manager.

Press Shift+Enter or ⌘+F to open the Spotlight, the quickest way to create devices and get anywhere.

Modifier Keys

General

• Hold Shift and click to toggle selection (add/remove)
• Hold Shift and drag selection rectangle to invert selection

Timeline Regions

• Hold ⌘ and drag to copy a region / clip
• Hold ⌘+Shift and drag to copy a region / clip as mirrored
• Hold Shift and scroll wheel to zoom horizontally
• Hold ⌥ and click to cut a region
• Hold ⌥+Shift and click to cut a region without consolidating

Notes

• Hold ⌘ and drag to copy notes

Note Properties (Velocity/Expression)

• Hold ⌘ and drag to draw values
• Hold ⌥ and drag to draw a line

Automation

• Hold ⌘ and drag to copy points
• Hold ⌥ while dragging to freeze value (move position only)
• Hold Shift and click on curve to create a new point
• Hold Shift while dragging to disable value snapping

Value Dragging (Knobs, Faders)

• Hold Shift to disable snapping
• Hold ⌥ for fine control

Warp Markers

• Hold Shift to disable snapping

Playfield Sample Pads

• Hold ⌥ and drag to copy a sample to another pad
